On a par with professors
At our Faculty, students can enjoy educating themselves in a free and independent way. Team spirit and social intelligence is what we want to promote, and hence we support individual projects e.g. in the business world, in the non-profit area, as a social entrepreneur and so on. Apart from the regular courses you may opt for a so called independent study which means that you conclude an agreement with a professor to work on a special topic or project independently. This educational idea has its origin in the tradition of Humboldt according to which research and teaching cross-fertilize each other.
Excellent professors encourage students to ask questions and raise issues
To implement these ideas, the Faculty employs excellent professors who are experts in their areas of research and support new ideas, topics and projects. The predominant style of the seminars we offer encourages open discussions, to ask questions and to raise new issues. Knowing more makes you increasingly curious. Teaching is animated, is an event. We select professors and teachers to create such events.

Critical and ironical discussion of economic topics, trans-disciplinary thinking and intelligent deconstruction – these factors determine our teaching. Derive pleasure from thinking.
