ERASMUS is a programme sponsored by the EU to promote student and teacher mobility in Europe. It offers students a chance to spend between 3 and 12 months at a European partner university.

Who may apply?
All students whose home universities have signed an ERASMUS partnership agreement with the University Witten/Herdecke may apply for the ERASMUS programme. Please find out application details from the International Office of your home university.

Credit Transfer
Like most European universities, the University Witten/Herdecke has introduced the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) LINK zu „Studium im Ausland – ERASMUS – ETC“) for the majority of courses. However, students wishing to come to Witten as ERASMUS students should inquire at their home universities about recognition of seminars/lectures attended at the UWH.
