Assistance for registration

The International Office will provide assistance to international exchange students for registration. You receive detailed information as part of the Welcome Package sent to you after your nomination. 

Welcome Day

Early in each semester  - shortly before the lecture period begins – the International Office organizes a “Welcome Day” for international students. You will be given a guided tour through the university and lots of useful information on accommodation/lodgings, or student life in Witten. Your ERASMUS tutor will assist you in coping with all necessary formalities, e.g. residents registration, and also with registration at the UWH. For the exact date see the Welcome Package.

Welcome Weeks

Early in the winter semester (not in the summer semester!) international students may attend another orientation event, the “Welcome Weeks“. As a rule these two weeks are around the end of September/early October. For detailed information see the Welcome Package sent to you after your nomination.
