SmartCard

Upon registration at the University Witten/Herdecke you will receive a credit-card size SmartCard. This card is an excellent example of special services students enjoy at  UWH. The SmartCard serves as an all-purpose key:

• 24-hour access to university buildings and library
• ticket for public transport
• payment for meals at the café or snacks from vending machines, or use of copy machines
• lots of discounts - the SmartCard is also your student ID

Guest students receive a SmartCard, to be signed for at the BIT (information technology division) and to be returned at the end of their time at the UWH.

At the Registar’s Office the SmartCard is updated for each new semester.
