Witten/Herdecke University offers degree programs in management and economics, health, and philosophy and culture. Close cooperation among these areas ensures that our graduates are experts with a broad horizon and in great demand. They are well prepared for positions in, for example, health economics or cultural management, and acquainted with ethical issues in medicine.
Philosophy and Culture
Jannis Keuerleben is a student of philosophy and culture at Witten/Herdecke University. Here he explores the theory and practice of organizations and political and cultural contexts; in addition he is personally involved in the institutional dynamics of the university – a valuable experience.
Management and Economics
Oliver Skopec created the web portal “schülerVZ”, today he studies management and economics at Witten/Herdecke University. Why Witten? “I believe that here I get a sound education in economics.”
Nursing Science (M.Sc.)
Nadine Schüßler started her studies in nursing science at the School of Nursing Science, Faculty of Health in winter 2005/06. After her Bachelor degree in nursing science she went on with the Master program which she expects to conclude with the Master of Science in Nursing by the end of 2010.
Applicants Nursing Science
Anne Sophie Biesalski started her medical studies at the School of Medicine, Faculty of Health, Witten/Herdecke University in summer 2007. She is a board member of Hochschulwerk Witten/Herdecke e.V. and was a co-organizer of the university ball in 2010. She expects to graduate in medicine in 2012.
Sarah Pütz started her studies of Dental Medicine at the School of Dentistry, Faculty of Health, Witten/Herdecke University in the winter of 2009/2010. She hopes to graduate in 2014 and plans to continue her studies with a program in oral surgery.
