Scholarships
Prizes and scholarships
Students may apply to a number of institutions for scholarships. For helpful suggestions see scholarship databases like Stipendiendatenbank von E-Fellows, Bundesregierung, Land NRW and Bundesverband deutscher Stiftungen.
In addition to the major and better known scholarship programs there are many other smaller or local support programs. The better known institutions receive many applications as a rule, and only a limited number of applicants is successful.
Generally, it is advisable to select a foundation whose profil and program correspond to an applicant’s intentions and preferences.
