Expedition World

Three economics students decided that hands-on experience is better than dull theory. So they went on an 8-month expedition around the globe: "Expedition Welt". They looked for social entrepreneurs whose main interest is not profit for themselves but for society: ecological projects, micro banking and health care facilities marked some stages on the journey. The students reported on GEO websites, kept German school classes informed via satellite phone, and published a summary of the expedition as a book.
