Can democracy safeguard the future? Event Invitation

On Friday, 5th March 2021 at 4pm (Germany), UW/H professor, Dr. Amanda Machin, will be joining the international and high-profile panel discussion on climate change and democracy.

Dr. Machin’s expertise on sustainability and democracy play an important role in academia and help shape the debates about a sustainable future.

She will be part of an international panel for the book launch of professor Graham Smith from the University of Westminster bearing the title “Can democracy safeguard the future?”

Anyone interested in the topics of democracy, climate change, citizens assemblies and the politics of the future is warmly invited to attend this free event. Registration via Eventbrite .

Dr. Machin belongs to the chair of international political studies and she gives courses on the topics of democracy and sustainability to the M.A. Philosophy, Politics and Economics, B.A. Philosophy, Politics and Economics and M.A. Ethics and Organisation study programmes.
