One major objective at Witten/Herdecke University is to create a perfect context where students may implement their own ideas on issues of social and subject-related relevance in projects. As a private and comparably small institution, Witten/Herdecke University makes a particular effort to keep the general public informed of our activities. Several thousands of articles per year appear in German and international media as a result, in addition to the communications department's regular publications in a variety of target-group oriented media formats.
