Chair of Personality Psychology and Diagnostics
The Chair focuses on research and teaching in the fields of psychological diagnostics, personality psychology and differential psychology.
Our teaching involves the critical analysis of issues concerning personality psychology and psychological diagnostics. While interactive lectures, practical exercises and seminars as well as case studies convey theoretical learning contents, students translate these contents into practice in order to be able to apply them appropriately in their future professional career.
In the context of the Psychology Bachelor´s degree programme, the Chair of Personality Psychology and Diagnostics offers the following compulsory courses:
- Personality Psychology (lecture / third and fourth semester)
- Fundamentals of Psychological Diagnostics (lecture / fourth semester)
- Measurement and Psychometrics (seminar / fourth semester)
- Test Theory and Test Design (seminar / sixth semester)
- Diagnostics (practical exercise / sixth semester)
