Project overview
Doctoral project: The aim of this study was to use quantitative and qualitative methods to collect initial data on the experience of meaning among medical students at two different study locations. The study explored students' motivation for studying medicine, how they deal with their sense of meaning, crises of meaning and, on the other hand, how patients deal with questions of meaning and the need for support in dealing with sense of meaning and crises of meaning. Initial results were published in 2024.
