Graduates of degree programmes in management, economics, political science, industrial engineering and business informatics can pursue a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) if they are interested in an academic career.
How can I earn a doctorate?
If you are interested in a doctorate at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Society, you must first find a supervisor for your doctoral project. Potential supervisors, as defined by the doctoral regulations, can be found among the professors of the faculty.
The prospective doctoral candidate and the supervisor enter into a doctoral agreement (downloads).
Once accepted as a doctoral candidate, you must enrol at the university. If you have any questions regarding the general enrolment process, please contact the Registrar's Office team by email at studierendensekretariat@uni-wh.de or by telephone from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 at +49 2302 926-405.
