Youth Creative Award Sustainability 2025

Inspiring and creative answers to the question "What does the future have in store for today?"

Imagine this: It's the year 2070 and you live in a sustainable and just world. What does it look like - and how did we get there?

With these questions, the Youth Creative Award invited participants to take a creative and critical look at the present and the future. The participants were asked to imagine themselves in the year 2070 and to formulate a piece of advice to a person in the present from this future perspective. We were impressed by the variety of entries submitted - from collages and poetic texts to staged telephone calls.

A jury of five students finally selected the winners, who were honoured at an awards ceremony on 10 February:

1stprize: Fidan Bakir, Maya Kleinekotte and Sophie Hartfeld (endowed with 500 euros)
2ndprize: Nele Fricke and Matthes, Matthes and Fidan Bakir (endowed with 500 euros). 2ndprize: Nele Fricke and Matthis Peters (endowed with 200 euros)
3rdprize: Peti Mohamad (endowed with 200 euros)
4thprize: Magnus Dostal (endowed with 100 euros)
Divided 5th prize: Konstantin Borgmeier and Nora-Stacy Temel (endowed with 100 euros)
Divided 6th prize: Saniye Nur Güven (endowed with 100 euros) Shared 6thprize: Saniye Nur Güvencin and Nicole Becker (each endowed with a non-cash prize)
