Art/Organization: Public closing event with concert and performances

The public closing event of the "Art/Organization" seminar presents art as a social, performative and organizing practice. Students and invited artists will present installations, performances and musical contributions that deal with historical and contemporary questions of organization, the public sphere and artistic agency. Starting points include works by Nam June Paik, Yoko Ono and Charlotte Moorman, which serve as references for performative experiments between Fluxus, media art and collective experience.
A concert by the Transhuman Art Critics is also part of the event. The band consists of Emil Schult and Lothar Manteuffel.
Emil Schult, painter, poet and visual artist as well as co-lecturer of the seminar, significantly shaped the interface of art, music and technology with his texts, images and concepts and worked with Joseph Beuys and Kraftwerk, among others. Lothar Manteuffel is a musician, composer and producer known for his work at the interface of electronic music, pop and experimental sound art.
The final event is an open format between art, theory and the public and marks the end of the seminar as well as the presentation of the artistic works developed during the semester.
Participation is free of charge. Please register by e-mail.
