Administration/Management
The administration at UW/H offers a diverse working environment. Traditional areas such as secretarial work, finance, management accounting, IT, human resources and other fields of work are tailored here to the specific requirements of a university. In addition, there are university-specific tasks in areas such as research funding, university development and the Professional Campus. The administration at the Dental Clinic and the Psychotherapy Outpatient Clinic also offers interesting opportunities. Some of our staff even combine different areas of responsibility, making their day-to-day work particularly varied.
Science
Our academic staff are involved in exciting research projects and teaching. They have the opportunity to play an active role in pioneering research and innovative teaching at one of Germany’s leading private universities.
As one of the few private universities, UW/H has full rights to award doctorates and habilitations. We actively support committed academics in their doctoral or habilitation projects.
Psychotherapeutic, medical and dental care
At our university-run outpatient clinics, patients receive modern, comprehensive general medical, dental and psychotherapeutic treatment in line with the latest scientific findings. Here, therapists, doctors and dental assistants work closely with experienced specialists, contributing to high-quality patient care.
Dental assistants
With its wide range of departments, the Dental Clinic at the University of Witten/Herdecke offers dental assistants a particularly varied working environment. Whether in the fields of surgery, prosthodontics, periodontology or orthodontics – we work in small, dedicated teams in close collaboration with clinicians and students. There are also interesting roles available in the preventive care centre, at reception or in the X-ray department. State-of-the-art technologies and innovative equipment ensure that our staff are always working at the cutting edge of dentistry.
