At Witten/Herdecke University, we feel a special bond with our graduates. We support our students not only during their studies, but throughout their lives. You can take advantage of the graduate management's networking and further education programmes in the way that suits you best.
What is graduate management?
Witten/Herdecke University's Alumni Management is the central point of contact for graduates.
It organises numerous opportunities for networking with other graduates.
- Networking with other alumni, current students and professors,
- exchange on exciting topics from research and teaching and
- further education.

Are you looking to get in touch with former fellow students or do you need support with a current project? In the following overview you will find various ways to network quickly and easilywith over 9,500 UW/H graduates and graduates in business, politics, health, education and society.

The online portal for alumni
The almanach is your digital meeting place for exchange, reunions and networking. Here you can find former fellow students, take part in groups and discussions, stay informed about events and discover news from the UW/H community.
Our goal is to unite as many graduates and alumni as possible on the platform - with up-to-date profiles and contact details. Because only those who are registered remain visible, approachable and connected!

Our alumni network extends across various regions and cities. In the regional groups, graduates and alumni have the opportunity to meet in person, attend local events or cultivate common interests - a great way to stay in touch with other UW/H graduates outside the university. The regional groups are organised via groups in social networks.

This is where mentors and mentees find each other
The LinkedIn group "UW/H Generations Network" serves the exchange between former and current students of Witten/Herdecke University. Here we offer a space to discuss questions, engage in personal dialogue, learn from each other and find support. Students can, for example, look for mentors, interview partners for theses, speakers for events or a contact person for starting a career. UW/H graduates will find exciting opportunities to work with students and find new colleagues in a pool of motivated and well-trained young professionals.
How to keep your
UW/H contact details
With the lifelong UW/H email address, you can easily stay in touch with former fellow students, lecturers and members of Witten/Herdecke University and keep in touch with your alma mater even after you graduate.
Once you have completed your studies at UW/H, your username and email address will remain with the contents of your mailbox and address book.
Apply for a UW/H e-mail address
If you graduated from UW/H before 2018 and do not yet have a UW/H email address, you can apply for an UW/H email account (1 GB storage space). For reasons of data protection, you will receive your access data by post.
Would you like to delete your UW/H e-mail address?
If you no longer wish to use your UW/H email account after graduation and no longer need access, you can have the account completely deleted at any time. Simply send an email with the subject "Delete UW/H email" and your full name and date of birth to alumni@uni-wh.de.
Worth knowing:
- You can reset or reassign your password for your UW/H email inbox via the password self-service.
- As a graduate, the following services are no longer available to you: Intranet (i.e. no discounted software either), Eduroam, Bib databases, Moodle.
- As a graduate/alumnus, you will no longer receive emails relating to the day-to-day running of UW/H.
- You can find further information on using the e-mail inbox on the intranet.
