The study of macroeconomic relationships

The Chair of Macroeconomics and International Economics is dedicated to researching macroeconomic relationships. In doing so, we are committed to a macroeconomic approach grounded in institutional economics. We investigate the impact of institutional arrangements on stable and sustainable growth. In addition, the Chair carries out applied research into relevant issues of economic policy at national, European and international levels. The primary focus here is on shaping a competitive Europe within an increasingly multipolar world order.
