Chair of Oral Surgery and Dental Emergency Care
Surgical procedures in the oral and maxillofacial region
This Chair of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine focuses its teaching and research on the full spectrum of dental surgery, oral pathology and oral medicine.
The treatment team in the ‘Chair of Oral Surgery and Dental Emergency Care’ comprises qualified dental specialists in oral surgery, as well as dentists who are undertaking further training in oral surgery as academic staff. In addition to experienced dental assistants, dental students undertaking surgical placements also assist with treatments.
We attach the utmost importance to providing comprehensive advice and the best possible oral medicine and oral surgery care for our patients. We achieve this by applying current standards based on scientific evidence and guidelines.
