Your guide to everyday life at university

A maze of grey concrete buildings? Not here! We believe it’s important to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere so that you feel at home and we can grow together as a university community. University life thrives in our bright, welcoming main building and our modern timber-framed building. Here you’ll find lecture theatres, seminar rooms, the library and the cafeteria. All the key locations for your everyday university life are connected by short distances. We’ll show you the way!

Other UW/H facilities, such as the University Dental Clinic and the Centre for Mental Health and Psychotherapy (ZPP), are located in the immediate vicinity of the main campus. You can find further information about our locations here.

In black and white: A wealth of knowledge in the university library

Whether you’re working on a seminar paper and looking for the right book, need a quiet place to study, or want to print out your lecture notes – you’ll find what you’re looking for at the university library. The library also gives you access to digital databases, through which you can access publications from all over the world. Amongst the bookshelves, you’ll find cosy reading corners and modern study spaces to make your academic work easier.
