Therapeutic support for adults, children and young people
The Centre for Mental Health and Psychotherapy (ZPP)
Professional support for stress and mental health conditions, as well as guidance on prevention
The Centre for Mental Health and Psychotherapy (ZPP) at Witten/Herdecke University offers professional support to adults, children and young people facing challenging life situations, psychological and social stress, mental health disorders and physical illnesses accompanied by psychosocial symptoms.
In addition to alleviating and treating existing disorders and illnesses, the Psychotherapy Outpatient Clinic supports its patients in preventing mental and psychosocial problems and helps them to stabilise and maintain a sense of balance in their personal, family and relationship lives.
The ZPP’s treatment programmes are scientifically grounded, based on cognitive behavioural therapy, and are individually tailored to the needs and circumstances of individuals, families and/or couples. We are particularly committed to integrating psychotherapy research and treatment. By incorporating the latest scientific research findings, conducting ongoing evaluation and carrying out our own research projects, we continuously review and improve the quality of our treatment programmes and therapies.
