"Blind Spirits" - Reading by Lina Schwenk

Book cover "Blind Spirits"

Lina Schwenk completed her medical studies at UW/H five years ago. At her job interview, when asked what she could bring to the university, she answered: writing. The result of this passion is the novel "Blind Spirits".

Now she wants to present her work to the Witten audience in a public reading. The novel has been nominated for the German Book Prize, the Alfred Döblin Prize and the ZDF aspekte Literature Prize and has been awarded the GWK Sponsorship Prize and the Audience Prize at the Harbour Front Literature Festival.

"Blinde Geister" is a moving family story that takes us from post-war Germany to the present day and asks the question: How can we protect our own family and save ourselves from it at the same time?

The event is free of charge.
