Carstens Foundation enables research project on multiple sclerosis

Participants in the health promotion course at the university outpatient clinic

Up to 250,000 people in Germany are terminally ill with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system.

A new research project will start at the IGVF in August 2024. It will evaluate how the established mind-body medicine-based health promotion course BERN in an adapted form affects the self-efficacy, symptom reduction, quality of life and lifestyle of MS patients. More information here.

We would like to thank the Carstens Foundation for making the project possible with a considerable sum of money.
