5S work organisation (also known as 5A in Germany) is a methodology that was popularised by Toyota in production systems in the 2000s. It consists of the following methods: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain. In 2019, the University of Helsinki linked the methodology with research data and popularised it as "5S-Data". This Coffee Lecture will go into detail about the steps and how you can implement the right organisation of research data in your work team.
