Beate Stock-Schröer studied biology in Saarbrücken, Bonn and Norwich (UK) and completed her doctorate in medicine on a complementary medicine topic. She has also been a university and science manager M.A. since 2021. For more than 20 years, she headed the junior researcher program at the Karl and Veronica Carstens Foundation in Essen. There she supervised the content and concept of the doctoral theses funded by the foundation, held courses, published a curriculum for NHV and complementary medicine and organized conferences. She also works on her own research projects, publishes and gives lectures at international conferences. Since February 2021, she has been the spokesperson of the IGIM and is responsible for content and organizational planning and implementation.
