Falko Schulte is Head of Digital Strategy at Helios Kliniken GmbH. In this role, he is responsible for the implementation of selected digitalisation and innovation projects with a particular focus on the clinical process and structural landscape. He completed his medical studies at the University of Hamburg and earned his doctorate in a graduate programme of the German Research Foundation. He began his clinical career at the Kiel campus of the University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein in internal medicine, where he acquired further qualifications in addition to his specialist title in internal medicine.
To gain a deeper understanding of the holistic management of healthcare data, he studied part-time at RWTH Aachen University. As an interface between medicine, IT and management, he acts as a point of contact for all professional groups involved and focuses on the seamless integration of new and innovative software applications to ensure optimal patient care.
As a member of the Chair of Health Informatics at UW/H, he is passionate about the evaluation and transfer of innovative digital technologies and data-driven approaches from scientific conception to clinical routine.
