Raphaela Kayeji is a research assistant at the Reinhard Mohn Institute of Management.

Compassion: From Felt Suffering to Collective Action

Drawing on empirical research in the fashion industry, this project demonstrates how experiencing and expressing suffering enables stakeholders to translate moral reflection into action, to engage others in a spirit of collective compassion, and to develop sustainable solutions even when resources are limited.

Practical dialogue and knowledge transfer

• Workshop at the AMD: ‘Their Stories We Wear – Compassion in Fashion’
• At the Sustainability Lab II at the AMD, in collaboration with ettics STUDIO. There, I translate insights from my research into teaching and practice, for example through targeted workshops that foster and reflect on compassion.
