The Family Festival will take place at the Goetheanum in Dornach (Switzerland) from 31 July to 3 August 2025. On the last day (Sunday, 3 August), Dr Silke Schwarz, research associate at the Gerhard Kienle Chair of the UW/H, will give a lecture on the topic "How to accompany the changes in the development of our children?"

From the organiser's announcement text:

Spirituality in education

Children are gifts from heaven. They come to us from far away.
What do they bring with them? Where does my child live when it sleeps? How
does my child experience the world? How about us, our speech and actions?

We do not do justice to our children, their nature, their fine, still
largely supernatural soul, if we only understand the
earthly-physical part of their personality. What
is accessible to today's science and flows through it into a
growing number of guidebooks and rules for parenting and
education only ever describes one part. The other,
larger part, is missing.

How can we understand our children? How can we be good, strong
companions for them - in a world that has become confusing and difficult
? How can we become good, strong and loving
parents? What can we develop and nurture in ourselves in order to be close to
ourselves and our children and to be good companions in the
challenges of the world and life?
