Healthy city of Witten

Project overview

As the largest city in the Ennepe-Ruhr district, it is worthwhile for Witten to focus more strongly on, further develop and stabilise municipal health promotion. The joint co-operation project "Healthy City of Witten (GeWIT)" between the city and Witten/Herdecke University, funded by Techniker Krankenkasse, will take on this task.

  • Funding: GeWIT is funded by the Techniker Krankenkasse via the "Healthy Community" funding programme in accordance with the Prevention Act §20a SGB V.
