Interdisciplinary basic training FDM

The workshop is dedicated to the management of research data of all kinds, with the main focus on teaching core concepts such as organisation, structuring, documentation, storage, archiving and publication of this data. The aim is to familiarise participants with the FAIR principles and prepare them to organise their data in such a way that it is sustainable, accessible and usable for the scientific community.
The workshop offers a comprehensive insight into the theory of the FAIR principles, taking into account the many challenges that can arise when dealing with research data. It also aims to provide researchers with practical skills and knowledge to effectively manage their data and contribute to the scientific community.
The event is primarily aimed at doctoral students and will be held in German. Registration is required.
Lecturers are Dr Wibke Kleina and Dr Bernd Zey (TU Dortmund University).
In connection with the RDM curriculum of the University Alliance Ruhr, the Research Data Service of TU Dortmund University offers regular training courses for various subject areas and target groups as well as in-depth courses in English and German in the summer semester 2025. Interested parties from UW/H can also take part.
