Planning projects as a volunteer

This workshop teaches the basics of project management for voluntary work and deals with questions that typically arise when planning and implementing projects in the voluntary sector. For example:
- How do I get from the idea to project planning?
- What all needs to be taken into account during the planning stage and how do funding organisations look at funding applications?
- How can I successfully implement projects in a team and how can I actively involve my target group in the project concept and implementation?
- How can I acquire the resources I need for my project and how can I best ensure the success of my project?
- And finally, what do I do if problems arise in the project?
To facilitate the planning and implementation of projects, participants will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with and try out helpful tools such as a project canvas, a team charter and a Kanban board.
The workshop leader is Miriam Venn (Caritas).
Participation is free of charge.
The event is a cooperation between the vhs Witten | Wetter | Herdecke, the integration agency of the Caritasverband Witten e. V. and the WittenLab. Zukunftslabor Studium fundamentale of the Witten/Herdecke University.
The WittenLab. Zukunftslabor Studium fundamentale at Witten/Herdecke University is funded by the Werner Richard - Dr Carl Dörken Foundation.
