POLAR_MI

The POLAR joint project aims to detect medication risks in patients taking multiple medications (polymedication) using methods and processes from the Medical Informatics Initiative (MI-I). In particular, POLAR demonstrates that data, for example from doctors' letters or diagnoses, can be collected and processed electronically across the four German consortia.

The UW/H sub-project dealt with algorithms and analyses of inadequate medication/underuse.
