Loneliness, Emotional Regulation, and Personality in Childhood and Adolescence

How Children Deal with Their Feelings:
Online Study on Emotions and Loneliness

Sometimes children feel sad, angry, or lonely—but how do they cope with these feelings? In our current study on loneliness, emotions, and emotion regulation in children, we aim to better understand how children experience their feelings and what strategies help them cope with difficult moments.

We are looking for parents of children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 18 who are interested in participating in an exciting online study (approx. 30 minutes). Participation is, of course, anonymous and provides important insights for psychological research—and thus also for supporting families in their daily lives.

As a thank-you, all participants can enter a raffle for gift cards.

Please note that a sufficient command of German is required to participate in the study.
