UW/H Hackathon "Shaping the future"

The complex crises of our time cannot be solved by memorising old answers. They need people who take action.

The UW/H hackathon "Shaping the future" is not a theoretical event, but an interactive format for participation. Here, you and your team will work on a real challenge - accompanied by students, professors and alumni of Witten/Herdecke University.

What you can expect:
In teams of 2 - 5 people, you will spend three days on the campus of Witten/Herdecke University developing a solution for a social or entrepreneurial challenge that moves and motivates you personally and as a group - based on fact-based research and analysis.

What you need to bring:
You don't need to bring a finished project. You don't need any specific grades. What you do need: The will to create something.

AI as a co-creator:
You and your group are expressly encouraged to use AI tools - as research partners, sparring partners or prototyping tools. The only condition: Transparency. Show how and where AI has supported you.
