UW/H Public Climate School

The Public Climate School (PCS) brings climate education to schools, universities and society. It fosters dialogue and action across Germany on climate justice, sustainability and social change. Under the motto ‘Learning, understanding and taking action together’, the action week combines climate education with discussion and engagement, both locally and online.

The International Centre for Sustainable and Just Transformation [tra:ce] and the Sustainability Network at UW/H would like to use this Germany-wide action week to make sustainability more visible and tangible in teaching. This gives students, staff and guests the opportunity to take part in one-off sessions of sustainability-related seminars and thus gain a better understanding of sustainability across the various faculties at the University of Witten/Herdecke.

The events will take place both online and in person. 

All venues for in-person events are located in the main building at Alfred-Herrhausen-Straße 50, 58455 Witten, at the University of Witten/Herdecke. 

Some events will be held in German, others in English.
