Health Intel Act

Transforming Health and Care Systems for People, Planet, and Prosperity

Project overview

HealthIntelAct is an innovative research initiative funded under the prestigious Horizon Europe programme through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Doctoral Networks. Our aim is to train the next generation of Actionable Performance Intelligence experts and provide decision-makers with the tools and knowledge to build sustainable, inclusive and effective health and care systems across Europe and beyond.

Why HealthIntelAct?

Health and care systems face immense challenges - from health inequalities and labour shortages to climate impacts and financial constraints. At the same time, the untapped potential of data and digital technologies could revolutionise the way we care for people, protect our planet and ensure prosperity for all.
HealthIntelAct addresses these challenges by transforming data into actionable knowledge that empowers decision makers in the health care system - whether they are policy makers, health managers, health insurers, clinicians or even patients and citizens. By providing them with the right tools and insights, we help them make informed decisions to improve the performance and sustainability of health and care systems.

Empowering the Next Generation of Performance Intelligence Experts

At the centre of HealthIntelAct are 17 scholarship recipients working on groundbreaking research projects that focus on critical challenges in three key areas: People, Planet and Prosperity. These interdisciplinary projects, spanning multiple countries and sectors, aim to develop actionable solutions for inclusive, sustainable and resilient healthcare systems.
Through cutting-edge training and hands-on collaboration with leading scientists, healthcare organisations and industry partners, scholarship recipients will become future leaders in transforming health and care systems worldwide.
