KULTURZEIT: UW/H students report on their experiences at the simulation game Model United Nations and in the US election campaign

In this event, UW/H students will talk about their experiences in the USA, their experiences from the US election campaign and their impressions of the country and society.

Students Marlene Bursian and Jan Niklas Treinen from the student initiative ‘Model United Nations’ will share their impressions of this year's MUN conference in New York and the negotiations there. After a delegation from Witten/Herdecke University represented Pakistan in 2024, this year's participants represented the Republic of Argentina.

Secondly, PPÖ student Simon Shaw will report on his experiences in the recent US election campaign. Last autumn, he and his fellow student Victor Wolff supported the Democratic campaign team as volunteers in the final days of Kamala Harris' election campaign.
