Mozart's MusicLab

In cooperation with the UW/H orchestra (conductor Prof. Ingo Reihl), a multimedia "spatial concert" was developed especially for the new UW/H building. The idea for the "spatial concert" came from the artist duo Frederike Möller (pianist) and Michalis Nicolaides (video artist). They sent the audience on a musical journey through the new campus building at the University of Witten/Herdecke. Like soloists, the orchestra members played in separate rooms and yet took part in the joint performance via audio and video transmission. Musicians, visitors and architecture are brought into a new mutual exchange with this analogue-digital concert practice.
