Mozart's MusicLab

A room concert with the UW/H orchestra (13.11.2022)

In cooperation with the UW/H orchestra (conductor Prof. Ingo Reihl), a multimedia "spatial concert" was developed especially for the new UW/H building. The idea for the "spatial concert" came from the artist duo Frederike Möller (pianist) and Michalis Nicolaides (video artist). They sent the audience on a musical journey through the new campus building at Witten/Herdecke University. Like soloists, the orchestra members played in separate rooms and yet took part in the joint performance via audio and video transmission. Musicians, visitors and architecture are brought into a new mutual exchange with this analogue-digital concert practice.
