RMI guest lecture: "The effects of the multiple changes in times on the organisation and management of companies"

Portrait of a man at the lectern.

Times are changing dramatically and this is also having an impact on what it takes to lead organisations successfully in the future. Experienced consultant, manager and entrepreneur Dr Ralph Heck will be giving a guest lecture on this topic at UW/H.

So much is changing in business and society. Orientation is difficult. Which of the currently discussed changes are relevant and with what effect? What skills will be needed at management level in organisations in the future? To what extent will people still be important in organisations in the medium term?

The guest lecture by Dr Ralph Heck deals with these and other questions. The lecture is part of the "Organisation" module by Prof. Dr Guido Möllering from the Reinhard Mohn Institute of Management.

Dr Ralph Heck was an internationally successful consultant and senior director at McKinsey & Company for more than three decades. From 2020 to 2024, he headed the Bertelsmann Stiftung as Chairman of the Executive Board. Dr Heck has held and still holds various supervisory and advisory board mandates as well as entrepreneurial commitments. He studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, where he subsequently earned a doctorate in Economics. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Reinhard Mohn Institute.
