Students particularly appreciate the support they receive during their studies (4.5 out of 5 stars), the general study situation (4.4), the well thought-out organisation of studies (4.4) and the topicality of the courses offered (4.4).
High praise for the teaching staff
In the category "Support from teaching staff", the UW/H achieved a top score of 4.3 stars. Students particularly emphasised the support they received with questions and problems (4.6), the discussion of study assignments (4.4) and the expertise of lecturers (4.2). The university also received top marks in the category "Support during studies" (4.5): The opportunities for networking with fellow students (4.7) and the offers for subject-related questions (4.6) were rated particularly positively.
Career orientation and practical relevance as clear plus points
Another key success factor is the practical orientation of the programme. Students rate the skills taught with 4.3 stars and the quality of practical courses with 4.4 stars. Support during the transition to an appointment is also rated above average with 4.1 stars.
"We are very pleased about the excellent results in the CHE ranking," says Prof Dr Thomas Ostermann, Head of the School of Psychology and Psychotherapy at UW/H. "It shows that our commitment to innovative, research-based and practice-orientated teaching is bearing fruit - and that our students appreciate this."
Place of learning as a feel-good factor
In addition to the quantitative assessment, students were also able to make comments. The learning spaces and the atmosphere on campus were praised particularly often. "The study rooms are very nicely designed, there is a good learning atmosphere, it's bright and inviting," reads one comment. Another student writes: "The library is very cosy and you feel very comfortable."
