Faculty of Management, Economics and Society (Department of Philosophy, Politics and Economics)  |  Chair of Moral and Political Philosophy

Reza Mosayebi is a researcher at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Society (Department of Philosophy, Politics and Economics) | Chair of Moral and Political Philosophy.

He teaches and works at the intersection of moral, political, and legal philosophy. In recent years, his main research focus has been in Critical Philosophy of Race. Historically, his work has centered on Immanuel Kant’s practical philosophy, Enlightenment theories, and John Rawls’s political philosophy. Methodologically, he identifies as an analytic philosopher who nonetheless remains attentive to diverse historical traditions. Other topics and areas that interest him and will shape his future research and teaching include, inter alia, the intersections of AI and structural (in)justice and theories of agency; human rights; and philosophical approaches to complex planetary challenges such as biodiversity loss, climate change, overpopulation, and overconsumption.
