With Prof Dr Christoph Schreiber from Witten/Herdecke University (UW/H), Juristische Rundschau (JR) has gained an editor who combines academic depth with practical experience. He specialises in the law of family businesses. With immediate effect, he will take over the academic supervision of the civil law section of the JR.

"The appointment is a great honour," says Schreiber. "I am looking forward to helping to shape the history of this renowned journal and providing new impetus for civil law."

In addition to him, Markus Löffelmann (Federal University of Public Administration), Mustafa Temmuz Oğlakcıoğlu (Saarland University) and Dirk Olzen (University of Düsseldorf) are members of the editorial board.

The Juristische Rundschau is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Since 1925, it has accompanied lawyers with well-founded analyses, practical articles and clear language - and remains a forum for legal discourse in its anniversary year.
