Save the date: RMI Corporate Management Day 2026

Once again this year, the Reinhard Mohn Institute is hosting its Day of Management, promising high-calibre presentations and lively discussions on a topical issue.
This event continues the tradition of previous RMI symposia and promotes dialogue between academia, business and society on issues shaping the future. In previous years, the focus has been on questions such as ‘Responsibility: Who is ready?’ (2018), ‘How do values become reality?’ (2019), ‘How resilient are diverse corporate cultures?’ (2020), ‘What does corporate responsibility mean today?’ (2021), ‘How do we save the future?’ (2022), ‘New Co-Work? Transformations of Cooperation’ (2023), ‘Strengthening Democracy: What is the Role of Businesses?’ (2024) and, most recently, ‘Confrontation rather than Cooperation in Business and Society?’ (2025).
Speakers included, amongst others, Roland Auschel (adidas), Jens Beckert (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies), Wibke Brems (The Greens), Christian Hahn (Deutsche Telekom), Ralph Heck (Bertelsmann Foundation), Immanuel Hermreck (Bertelsmann SE), Annette Kehnel (University of Mannheim), Alexander Kluge (Kluge + Konsorten), Brigitte Mohn (Bertelsmann Foundation), Sonja Sackman (University of Business and Economics, Munich), Daniela Schwarzer (Bertelsmann Foundation), Christian Neuhäuser (Dortmund Technical University), Thomas Voigt (Otto Group), Jürgen Weibler (Hagen University of Applied Sciences), Susanne Wiegmann (Business Council for Democracy), Silvia Wiesner (Unilever).
Further details will be published in the coming weeks.
Since its foundation in 2010 under the name of its founder, the Bertelsmann Foundation has been supporting the Reinhard Mohn Institute (RMI). Through research, teaching and dialogue with practitioners, it provides key national and international impetus for the theory and practice of partnership-based corporate governance.
