From Field to Glass – Brewing Beer at UW/H

Fresh hops straight from the field, brewing together and, to top it all off, a home-brewed beer: at this hands-on event, anyone interested can learn about the entire brewing process – from the hop harvest to the tasting – and get stuck in themselves.
It all kicks off on Saturday, 5 September 2026, with the hop harvest followed by the brewing process. We’ll need plenty of helping hands for the harvest. After primary fermentation, on 26 September, we’ll rinse the bottles and bottle the beer. On 7 November, following secondary fermentation, the event will conclude with a group tasting and the distribution of the green-hopped beer.
